I've just seen John's logfile as I was about to post this: it contains lots of V3 Server Flow Control entries - my logfiles on the Win10 laptops are also full of these, but they are completely absent in the logfile on the Win7 PC!! Some hidden change in Win10 causing a conflict in SDRC? CPU / GPU usage on all machines is negligible, so it's not a processing problem. It may be a data transfer problem rather than an audio bug as, with x4 Buffer and Max Buffer Fill, the waterfall also moves in bursts about a second apart, in sync with the audio. The problem isn't confined to your radios, as it's the same with any other active radio I can find on the server, ie perfect on the Win7 PC, but unusable on the Win10 machines. Audio from any other source on them is perfect. Running SDRC on my Win7 desktop I get perfect audio from all your radios via your server, but on my two Win10 laptops the stuttering is horrendous and the audio is unintelligible (like Daleks with pulsing speech) - whether the laptops are running on wireless (fast AC) or 1GB ethernet. I live quite close to John, and I've just been testing to see if I can replicate what John is hearing.
